August 5-6, 2016 – Louisiana Fishing Trip Report

On August 5-6 I had Barry Austin down for a Louisiana Fly Fishing Trip for redfish . Barry has been fly fishing with me for years, but this is the first time he has come down during the summer to try his luck. We had thunderstorms around each day, but were lucky enough to get in to some good 8-10 pound fish on day 1 and on day 2 we got lucky with the big bull reds. He boated 7-8 fish in the 15-20+ pound range with the biggest fish being 26 pounds. Not a bad day on the fly. If you are looking for places to visit give us a call.
