Louisiana Duck Hunting
If you want a little taste of what true marsh hunting is all about, then Adventure South Guide Service is here to make your dreams come true. Situated in the heart of the Mississippi River Delta and at the SE of the Mississippi Flyway, our hunt areas are the wintering grounds for the 10’s of thousands of waterfowl that migrate here each Fall.
Louisiana Duck Hunting. Imagine yourself riding down the mighty Mississippi River before daylight and sitting in a blind at dawn looking out over a vast delta marsh that is just filled with ducks. Mallards, Pintail, Widgeon, Gadwall, Teal, Canvasback, Mottled Ducks, we’ve got them all, and plenty of them.
On a typical year there is no problem for each hunter to shoot his/her limit on every hunt. You will see ducks. I guarantee it. We spend hours on the water scouting to make sure that we are hunting where the ducks want to be, so you don’t have to worry about hunting in an area where the ducks are decoy shy. In fact, once we hunt an area a couple of times, we leave this area alone so that the ducks can rest.
